Sadaharitha Plantations, Sri Lanka’s undisputed leader in commercial forestry with over 2,000 acres of thriving forests and a portfolio of over 28,000 investors, was recognized at the National Sales Congress (NASCO) 2018 conducted by Sri Lanka Institute of Marketing (SLIM) recently. As three top achievers in the Company’s Sales Team received Awards at this premier event dedicated to recognize performances of sales personnel. NASCO is the only national level event to recognize and reward excellence to raise the standard of sales professionalism in the country and has been held for 18 consecutive years with an eminent panel evaluating the participants under 22 sectors.
Sadaharitha Plantations competed under the Financial Services Sector. Thanusha Nimari won the “Female Sales Person of the Year” Award in addition to a gold award in the Front Liner category under Financial Services Sector. P.H. Sumedha won the “Silver Award” in Territory Manager category and U.G. Mangalika, won the “Bronze Award” in Front-liner category. The stringent judging process for NASCO Awards involved face-to-face interviews with a sub panel of 3-5 judges who evaluated the participants not only on their performance but also on their ability to articulate and develop skills to accept greater responsibilities. Sadaharitha Plantations has launched many investment opportunities through Sandalwood, Teak, Mahogany, Rambutan and Agarwood for investors who are able to benefit from their investments in forestry in 8 to 14 years and hoping to earn foreign exchange for the country in time to come. Especially from Agarwood which is sought after across the world by manufacturers of perfume and essences.
